Ponting says 'nothing will change going into Dominica Test

Dominica, Sun, 22 Apr 2012 ANI

Dominica, Apr 22(ANI): Veteran Australian batsman Ricky Ponting has said every Test gives a chance of victory.

"Every Test we play is a chance for us to win a Test match and that's the way we're looking at it. Nothing will change going into this(Dominica) Test match then it was going into the first Test match of the series in Barbados," The Sydney Morning Herald quoted Ponting, as saying.

"As we saw right through the day, we just needed a wicket to break through the partnership and batsman always found it hard to start. We'll see what we'll be confronted with this week, but nothing's different. We'll prepare the best way we possibly can and hopefully play some great cricket through the next five days," he added.

Australia has already retained the Frank Worrell Trophy, but a defeat in the Dominica Test will allow the seventh-ranked West Indies to square the three-game series.

Australia has conducted their main training session at Windsor Park, but are yet to finalise their squad for the final Test. (ANI)
