Plane crashes in Rawalpindi, 118 killed

Islamabad, Apr 20 (ANI): A Pakistani passenger plane with 127 people on board crashed due bad weather near the Chaklala airbase in Rawalpindi on Friday evening, Pakistani defence sources have said at least 118 passengers have been killed in the crash.

The Bhoja Airline flight B 4213 which took off from Karachi at 5 pm was supposed to land at Islamabad at 6:40 pm but crashed before touchdown.

According to eyewitnesses the plane immediate caught fire after it crashed.

Pakistan's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) confirmed the crash report and said rescue teams have been rushed to the accident site. (ANI)
