Srinagar, April 20 (ANI): Suspected militants Friday killed a police officer here.
Police said the attack was carried out in the Safakadal locality of Srinagar.he dead man was identified as assistant sub inspector Sukhpal Singh. He died in a hospital after being injured seriously.
According to police, Singh was killed in the market place while on routine duty.
A manhunt has been launched to trace the assailants. So far, no militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack. (ANI)
