Pak making arrangements for deportation of 16 Bin Laden family members

Islamabad, Apr 17(ANI): Pakistan is making arrangements for the deportation of 16 family members of former Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden after they completed their 45-day jail term.

Sources told The Dawn newspaper that Pakistan's Interior Ministry held a meeting to finalise arrangements in this regard and added that the family is likely to be sent to Saudi Arabia or Yemen.

Bin Laden's three wives, including two Saudi and one Yemeni, and 13 children, were detained on March 3 and kept at a house on Embassy Road, which was later eclared a sub-jail.

They were earlier sentenced to spend 45 days in prison for residing illegally in Pakistan. (ANI)
