Militant attack kills two Egyptian cops

CAIRO, April 15 (IANS) Two Egyptian policemen were killed and another injured Sunday morning by militants in an ambush in Arish, capital of Egypt's North Sinai governorate.

 

A group of hardline militants ambushed a police patrol party coming from Arish, General Saleh al-Masry, chief of North Sinai security forces, told Xinhua.

 

 

The attackers managed to escape from the scene, he said.
