Knight Riders outclass Royal Challengers

Bangalore, April 10 (IANS) Kolkata Knight Riders thrashed Royal Challengers Bangalore by 42 runs to record their first win in the fifth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium here Tuesday.
Knight Riders captain Gautam Gambhir scored 64 runs off 39 balls to propel his team to 165 for eight. Pacer Lakshmipathy Balaji took four for 18 as the Royal Challengers could manage only 123 for nine to fall woefully short of their target.
