Man vandalises Siberian nursery school

Moscow, April 9 (IANS/RIA Novosti) A man in Russia's Siberia region has been found guilty of breaking into a nursery school and damaging property.

 

Stepan Gladkikh from Chita city smashed two of the school's windows and sneaked inside in October 2011.

 

"He smashed 30 cups, 10 plates, broke five children's chairs and two towel holders. His criminal activities inflicted damage totalling 12,000 rubles (around $400)," prosecutors said.

 

He has been sentenced to eight months of community service. The man was unable to explain the reason for his actions.
