London, Apr 8(ANI): Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas will be looking to tempt Arsenal skipper Robin Van Persie to Nou Camp by showing him the three trophies, which he has already won since switching from the Emirates last summer.
On the other hand, 40-million pound rated Van Persie's trophy cabinet is empty, as Arsenal have failed for the fifth -successive year to land a cup
Reports in Spain claim Fabregas has given shimmering reports to Barcelona about Van Persie as a player and a person, The Daily Star reports.
Barcelona boasts of too many midfield players, but is in desperate need of a striker, and has been alerted by the fact Dutchman Van Persie has called off all contract talks with Arsenal until the summer.
His 37 goals for club and country this season have thrust him forward as leading candidate for Player of the Year, and virtually rescued a season that was going nowhere. (ANI)
