New Delhi, April 7 (IANS) It was a warm and sunny morning in the capital Saturday with the minimum temperature settling at 22 degrees Celsius, two notches above average for the season. The met department has forecast a clear day ahead.

 

"Mainly clear sky, likely to become partly cloudy sky towards evening/night. Today's (Saturday) maximum temperature is expected to hover around 37 degrees Celsius," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

 

The humidity levels recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 58 percent.

 

The maximum temperature recorded Friday was four notches above average at 38 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled two notches above average for the season at 22.4 degrees Celsius.
