London, Apr 7 (ANI): The eldest daughter of Uzbek President Islam Karimov has planned to release a new pop album.
Gulnara Karimova, 39, has told media that she will base the songs in the album on her own life experiences.
Karimova has already held a number of different careers. She has been a fashion and jewellery designer, international diplomat and captain of Uzbek industry as well as a pop diva under the name of GooGooSha, which was also her father's nickname for her.
She has already released one of the songs planned for her new album on the internet.
Comments on the micro-blogging website Twitter, though, gave a mixed response.
"It sounds like Gulnara Karimova is inspired by Central Asia's trashiest clubs," the Telegraph quoted wrote one user as tweeting.
Another described the song, which has a heavy electronic music influence, as "Eurotrash". (ANI)
