Tim Tebow to deliver 20 minute sermon on Easter Sunday

New York, Apr 7 (ANI): Tim Tebow, the sporting world's best known Christian, will give a 20-minute sermon at a Texas church on Sunday to mark the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Joe Champion of the Celebration Church in Georgetown, Texas, said he had no idea why the Jets' newest addition picked their "Easter on the Hill" worship service for his appearance.

He made it clear that Tebow's role this Sunday is not supposed to be the highlight of the event.

"It's not a Tim Tebow show," the New York Daily News quoted Champion as telling KVUE-TV.

"It's not about celebrity. There's really only one celebrity that we are going to honor and highlight," he said.

According to Yahoo! Sports, a crowd of about 30,000 was expected at the Celebration Church in Georgetown, Texas.

"Obviously it's our Super Bowl," Champion said.

"Easter is the resurrection of Christ, which we celebrate in our faith.

"We feel like it's going to be a testimony to the community. We want it to be a family event," he added.

More than 100 buses will shuttle the worshippers from locations surrounding the church to the outdoor celebration where Tebow will speak.(ANI)
