London, Apr 7(ANI): Bolton Wanderers' midfielder Fabrice Muamba, who is recovering from a cardiac arrest, celebrated his 24th birthday on Friday in the hospital, and received a good birthday gift, as he was told he would be moving back to home soon.
Muamba has been in hospital since suffering a massive heart attack in front of millions of television viewers, but he has made an outstanding recovery since then.
Doctors treating Muamba are amazed by his strong and steady improvements, and are set to move him out of the intensive care unit for the first time in next few days, The Daily Express reports.
The specialists may decide to transfer him closer to his home in Wilmslow, Cheshire, when they review his case on Tuesday.
Muamba celebrated his birthday with family and friends, including Shauna, the couple's son Josh, three, and his father Marcel.
Shauna thanked million of supporters who wished Muamba on his birthday. She wrote on Twitter: "Thanks for all the birthday wishes. We really appreciate them all." (ANI)
