Baghdad, April 4 (IANS) A television presenter working for a channel in Iraq was killed when a sticky bomb attached to his car blew up, Xinhua reported.

Kamiran Salahudin, presenter for Salahudin Channel, was killed when the bomb detonated late Monday while he was driving in Salahudin province capital Tikrit, Baghdad-based media watchdog Journalistic Freedom Observatory said.

Salahudin was 35 years old and a father of two sons.

According to the Iraqi Union of Journalists, more than 280 media workers have been killed since the US-led war began in 2003.
