Indian origin woman shot injured during California's Christian school firing

California, Apr 3(ANI): An Indian origin woman, Dawinder Kaur, was shot in the elbow during the shooting incident, which transpired in a Christian school in Oakland, California on Monday, which killed seven and wounded three people.

She is been treated at the Highland Hospital, and the U.S. Army Reservist informed her family that the gunman was a student in her nursing class who had been absent for months before returning on Monday.

The gunman entered the classroom and ordered students to line up against the wall, and when he showed his gun, students began running, and he opened fire, her family revealed.

"She told me that a guy went crazy and she got shot. She was running. She was crying; she was bleeding, it was wrong," the CBS News quoted Dawinder's brother Paul Singh, as saying.

The suspected killer, One L. Goh, involved in this contemptible act of manslaughter is now under police after he surrendered. (ANI)
