UAE president honours national Olympic football team

Abu Dhabi, March 26 (IANS/WAM) United Arab Emirates' President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has granted each player of the UAE National Olympic Football Team Dhs 500,000 (over $136,000) for qualifying to the London Olympics 2012.
Sheikh Khalifa congratulated the UAE team and the technical and management staff for the qualification.
The UAE president received the UAE Olympic Football Team here Monday at Dhiyafa Palace
