Singh-Gilani likely to meet on sidelines of Nuclear Security Summit in Seoul

Seoul, Mon, 26 Mar 2012 ANI

Seoul, Mar 26 (ANI): Indian Prime Ministers Manmohan Singh and his Pakistani counterpart Yousuf Raza Gilani may reportedly meet in Seoul on the sidelines of the second Nuclear Security Summit that begins here on Monday.

Although both the Indian and Pakistani sides said no formal meeting had been scheduled, they also did not rule out a 'pull aside' meeting during the summit.

"No structured meeting is planned, but a pull aside is always possible," The Dawn quoted Pakistan's Ambassador to South Korea Shaukat Ali Mukadam, as saying.

"There are possibilities. There are various places to meet, they could meet in leaders' lounge," he added.

Reports suggest that Singh and Gilani may come face-to-face during a reception hosted by South Korean President Lee Myung-Bak for the world leaders attending the summit. (ANI)
