Marc Anthony, new girlfriend cozy up to J-Lo's pals Becks and Posh

London, Mar 22 (ANI): Marc Anthony invited his estranged wife Jennifer Lopez's good friends Victoria and David Beckham along with new love Shannon De Lima, as his guests to the Latin Music Awards VIP reception in Los Angeles on Tuesday. he 43-year-old singer apparently intents on having the Beckhams become close to his new girlfriend.

All three were there to support Anthony as he was honoured with ASCAP's Founders Award at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

While the 36-year-old LA Galaxy star and his fashion designer wife, 37, complemented one another in matching black tie ensembles, so did Anthony and De Lima, the Daily Mail reported. he Venezualan model sported a turquoise gown with a major slit down it's centre.

The South American stunner ensured to match Anthony, who wore a dark blue suit to the event.

While Victoria and David are both friends with the Latin singer and his ex-wife, the footballer is closer to Anthony.

He also posted a picture of the two to his Facebook page last September after one of Marc's concerts, with a caption reading: "Here's a picture with my mate, Marc Anthony. Went to see him concert the other night with Victoria, he was incredible...a great performer. We loved it."

But, even though the salsa singer is now hanging out with the Beckhams, it was Jennifer who became friends with them first.

She is a close friend of Victoria and even donned one of her signature frocks in 2009.

According to the reports, despite jointly hosting the Latin reality show Q'Viva together, Lopez and Anthony's working relationship is rocky.

While he publicly declared about his new love, posting photos of the two of them kissing on Facebook, the American Idol judge has also been open about her relationship with toyboy Casper Smart.

She and the 24-year-old have been seen canoodling across the world from Los Angeles to Brazil. (ANI)
