Research papers on Pak president's immunity stolen in Islamabad

Islamabad, Fri, 16 Mar 2012 ANI

Islamabad, Mar 16(ANI): Research papers related to Pakistan president's immunity have been stolen from the residence of the Supreme Court official in Islamabad.

The Ramna Police Station has registered the case and investigation was underway.

Senior judicial assistant Yousuf Jan Marwat was working on several assignments regarding the president's immunity, The Dawn reports.

Marwat claimed that burglars broke into his home in G-10 area Islamabad when none of his family members were present at home.

Sources told the Dawn that the only thing missing from his residence was documents he was working on as a researcher for Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry.

But copy of documents had already been submitted to Justice Chaudhary, Marwat said. (ANI)
