Halle Berry's ex wants her to pay for new home

Washington, Mar 5(ANI): Halle Berry's ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry is demanding 15,000 dollars from her to pay for a new house.

Aubry has been embroiled with the Oscar winner in a bitter custody battle over their three-year-old daughter Nahla, since their split in 2010.

He has filed new legal documents in a Los Angeles court listing his child support needs - and he's expecting Berry to give him between 15,000 and 20,000 dollars a month to rent a home which lives up to the comfortable surroundings his daughter has become accustomed to.

He's also seeking a large sum for the little girl's clothing requirements and is asking for extra funds to pay for a trip to Canada to visit his family.

According to Tmz.com, a hearing on the financial issues had been due to take place on Monday, but it has since been postponed until 9 April, Contactmusic reported.

Berry recently asked a judge for permission to move from Los Angeles to her fiance Olivier Martinez's native France, amid fears for her family's safety after multiple run-ins with an alleged stalker.

Berry has hired Mel Gibson's former lawyer Stephen Kolodny to fight her case. (ANI)
