Three Nepal parties to continue discussion to iron out differences

Kathmandu, Mar. 4 (ANI): Leaders of Nepal's three major political parties - the UCPN-Maoist, the CPN (UML) and the Nepali Congress (NC) - on Sunday decided to meet again on March 8 to thrash out the differences seen in constitution drafting and peace process.

 

The meeting was held at the UML chairman Jhala Nath Khanal's residence at Dallu.

 

According to a Nepal News report, the leaders discussed the formation of Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) and Commission of Inquiry on Disappearances (CID).

 

No progress was reportedly made today.

 

Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, vice-chairman Mohan Baidya, leaders Dev Gurung and Ekraj Bhandari, NC president Sushil Koirala, vice-president Ram Chandra Paudel, leader Dr Minendra Rijal and UML chairman Jhala Nath Khana, senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal and leader Bhim Rawal attended Sunday's meeting.
