Mirage fighter plane crashes in Bhind, Madhya Pradesh

Gwalior/New Delhi, Feb 24 (ANI): Indian Air Force's Mirage -2000 aircraft crashed in Madhya Pradesh's Bhind District on Friday.

 

The aircraft had got airborne from Gwalior airbase and was on a routine training-flying mission.

 

Air Marshal Anil Chopra and Wing Commander Ram Kumar, who were flying the plane, ejected safely.

 

The Ministry of Defence has reported that no damage was caused to civil property and no individual was injured/killed due to the air crash.

 

An inquiry has been ordered to investigate the reasons for the accident. (ANI)
