Kobe Bryant's ex wife looking for apartment in NYC

London, Feb 21 (ANI): Kobe Bryant's estranged wife Vanessa was in New York City with her kids over the weekend, looking for an apartment.

According to real estate sources, Vanessa won't say if she is packing up and moving from California but she definitely wants to buy a place in NYC, Tmz.com reported.

It is not exactly a sign that she is reconciling with the Lakers star, even though the two were kissing after the Lakers game on Valentine's Day.

A move to the East Coast would be a blow for reconciliation hopes for the two, and it would also keep Kobe far away from their kids.

If the two do terminate their marriage, they have asked for joint custody of their daughters - Natalia and Gianna.

Vanessa now owns 3 estates in Newport Beach, after Kobe transferred title to her as part of their divorce, which is not yet final. She will receive a total of 75 million dollars in the settlement.

She reportedly thinks that Lakers' fans and other players' wives don't like her and that could have an influence on her decision to move away.

Real estate sources said that Vanessa made it clear the basketball star knows she is shopping in the Big Apple. (ANI)
