Washington, Feb 10(ANI): Google's very first employee, Craig Silverstein is leaving the company to join an online learning organisation called the Kahn Academy.
An education-tech entrepreneurship newsletter EdSurge broke out the news of her departure and the company has confirmed the development to AllThingsDigital.
Silverstein, who was technically Google's No. 3 employee after its pair of founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin undertook several technology roles in the company since 1998.
But his first task of helping build the lucrative search engine itself was perhaps his most significant, thetelegraph.com.au reports.
His role at the Kahn Academy is still unclear. (ANI)
