Manmohan Singh attends NCC Republic Day camp
New Delhi, Jan 28 (ANI): Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, marked his presence at the culmination parade of the National Cadet Corps Republic Day Camp-2012 here today.
Cadets from all three wings of the armed forces, including the Army, Navy and Air Force, presented Guard of Honour to the Prime Minister followed by a march past by contingents from different states.
Ninety cadets from seven foreign countries also participated at the parade.
The participants marched in perfect synchronisation and enthralled the audience with their stupendous performance.
The cadets also showcased their individual skills and level of competence attained in various activities.
They displayed their prowess by slithering down from helicopters, parasailing and demonstrating a stimulated attack on an enemy post.
Dubbed as the 'Prime Minister's rally', the parade marks the culmination of the NCC Republic Day camp which is held every year from January 5 to January 28.
Singh also presented awards to the best cadets in different categories. (ANI)
