Zardari, Kayani agree to keep NATO supplies blocked till parliament's decision

Islamabad, Jan 21 (ANI): Pakistan Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kiyani has told President Asif Ali Zardari to keep NATO supplies blocked till parliament takes a decision on it.

Both met informally over tea at the President's House after a Nishan-i-Imtiaz ceremony for Naval Chief Admiral Asif Sandila on Friday.

According to The Nation, they discussed the security situation and relations with the US/NATO forces.

Zardari reportedly agreed with Kiyani suggestion and both of them expressed their satisfaction over the way the Parliamentary Committee for National Security (PCNS) was engaged in preparing policy recommendations. (ANI)
