January 15 will be decisive for Koda government in Jharkhand for whether it will continue in power or will be reduced to minority after withdrawal of support by the Congress.

The deadline is going to be over, six days from now set up by the Congress to review the Jharkhand government's performance on November 15 last year. In reply to the Congress 60-days ultimatum, Chief Minister Madhu Koda has reiterated his earlier statement that his government will complete its full term.

JMM chief Shibu Shoren also approved with the Koda's statement that all the allies of the UPA minister would continue to support the government to complete its term.

"JMM adheres to coalition dharma. And I am optimistic that the Koda government will carry on with its good work," JMM Chief Soren, also the UPA chairman in Jharkhand, said today amidst two local news channels reporting that the Congress might take an adverse decision against the 15-month old Koda regime.

Undaunted Koda expressed, ??I have full confidence that my government will last its full term,? when asked by the reporters to comment on the reports of Congress's threatening to withdraw support from his government.

Koda said that he would submit complete report about the development works led by his government in the state and hopefully our government would not be pulled down by the 9-member Congress party, supporting from outside his 81-member assembly government.

After her return from the hospital, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi took stock of the party situation on Wednesday. After facing successive defeats first in Gujarat assembly election and then in Himachal Pradesh, Congress has decided to go aggressive on issues hurting the party's interests.

Within an hour of meeting alongwith party functionary Ajay Maken, in-charge of Jharkhand, Congress went with clear hints of reviewing the option of supporting the Koda government in Jharkhand. The strategy for the upcoming assembly election later in this year starting with the Meghalaya next month also discussed in the meeting.

The congress's Jharkhand unit chief Pradeep Kumar Balmuchu in Ranchi said that his party had served a 60-day ultimatum to the Koda government and had submitted a 19-point memorandum of demands.

The Congress party had given a 60-day ultimatum to the Koda government on November 15 last year to act on a 19-point charter of demands. It ends on January 15.
