Nicolas Sarkozy had 'brutal' rows with former wives and lovers, claims new book

London, Sept 29 (ANI): In a new tell-all book, French President Nicolas Sarkozy has been alleged to have had "brutal" exchanges with his former wives and lovers.

Famous author Hubert Coudurier writes in the controversial book 'Love, Rupture and Betrayal' that in the run-up to the presidential elections last year, an altercation between Sarkozy and his then-wife Cecilia had even led to a police complaint.

The author says that Sarkozy was left scot-free without any legal action against him, though the country's Interior Minister warned him that the complaint had been made.

In fact, it's known that Cecilia did not vote for Sarkozy in the poll.

The book also claims Sarkozy even demanded another lover to get his things ready for him in the morning, as he was used to his wife waiting on him.

"He is extremely considerate to people when they're on his side. But he can also be brutal," British tabloid The Sun quoted Coudurier as saying.

Sarkozy and Cecilia were divorced in October 2007, following which he married his third wife, ex-model Carla Bruni, 40, in February this year.Meanwhile, The Elysee Palace has refused to comment on the issue. (ANI)
