Another molestation sparks incident, demands strict punishment
After Mumbai it's time for the capital of India, to shed its head for â??killing the humanity' by a group of 25 people allegedly abusing and molesting two girls in the vicinity of north campus, Delhi University.
The incident was just the repetition of sexual molestation of two NRIs by a mob during New Year's Eve celebration in Mumbai, when they were stepping out of a five star hotel, left the entire country in stunned. Before the country could emerge from this shocking incident, the Delhi incident aggravated the incident already boiling over.
In the Delhi 's incident, two sisters from Manipur have allegedly reported that they were molested after an altercation over morality of women from Northeast. The two sisters with her brother reside in Gandhi Vihar near Delhi University , where they runs a cyber cafe in a rented house.
All of us are aware that the person who commits crime is less guilty than who sees crime happening before his naked eyes. Look into your conscience and ask yourself innocently who is guilty a single or a small group of people, who commits crime or a large group of people, who let the crime happens before them.
Where has our morality gone? Why have we become so humanity less? If a single person does crime, it can be understand in terms of his settling personal disputes or his mental cruelty. But, the circumstances I am saying is neither about settling personal clash nor about riots involving several groups or a group of people against a particular group working on a particular set of alleged principles.
This is the naked case of molestation of innocent girls by a gang of people, which is the consequence of certainly a new but degraded mass molestation culture. Had the disgraceful incident been committed by a single or a two or three cruel minded people we could understand the role of some dirty minded people, but here neither one nor two or three rather a whole group of 25,40,50,70 or even more people involved.
What can it be said where is our moral principle heading us or we have completely been moral less. Their sullied activity forced me to think to wipe out delineation between such men and animal.
While India has achieved a lot in terms of importing US and European jobs into the country, the Bollywood and modern media have pampered the illiterate vulgar population in India to disrespect Indian and especially Indian expatriate women. God knows when these vulgar men learn to respect women.
Most of television serials, movies, and even print media do everything they can do to instigate the youth and corrupt their minds
In the Mumbai molestation case, out of eight witnesses were two photographers from a national English daily who had clicked pictures of the incident, but shame on these duos, who never stopped or helped the expatriate women as their clothes were torn apart by vulgar Indian men. Thanks to the Assistant Commissioner of Police who had intervened while passing through the area and save these modern â??Draupadi' by the hungry clutches of mob.
There was only one Dushashana in Mahabharta period but fortunately there was Lord Krishna to save asmita (dignity) of Draupadi, while in this Kalyuga period there are many Dushashnas, who are forever ready to molest, rape women going alone, but unfortunately the world is devoid of a single Krishna. Who will save these Draupadis???
The laws should be amended to punish all those present in the mob that committed the offence, but effort to implement the laws have its own importance in present context because there is rampant thinking among mob that who will punish such a large group of people? Responsible person should avoid legalising such incident by pouring remarks as rightly pointed out by Mumbai commissioner of police, who rebuked media of making mountain out of a mole inkling to the Mumbai molestation case.
Although amendment in laws is essential, but only that is not the practical solution of such a grave problem. Without tackling the root cause it is not possible to stop such criminal acts.
Another bad day for few in Hyderabad.
Another molestation sparks incident, demands strict punishment.
Another extension to Liberhan Ayodhya Commission.
Another protest by Indian workers in foreign land.
Another Bhajji in the making.
