London Underground helps Gillian Anderson travel incognito
Washington, Aug 11 (ANI): Gillian Anderson has revealed that she opts to commute on London's Underground - because she never gets noticed.
The 'X-Files' star, who lives in the British capital, avoids chauffeur driven cars and prefers public transport instead as she rarely attracts any unwanted attention.
"To be honest it was when I was afraid that people would recognise me that I was recognised much more," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

"When I first arrived in London I was much more afraid of that, so I stayed in.
"But after a while I began to feel claustrophobic and thought, 'We have to get out'. So I went out very confidently, wore a hat, sat with my back to people, and the funny thing is that people would look at me and think 'Is that...? Impossible. She wouldn't ride the Tube,'" she added. (ANI)
