Governor Vohra lays foundation stone for Indo-Pak trade terminal
Poonch, Sept 29 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Governor N.N. Vohra has laid the foundation stone of a trade centre and truck terminal near the Chakan-da-Bagh crossing point on the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district to facilitate trade with Pakistan.
"We will benefit a lot in the coming days. To and fro transit of the people, operational roads, importing commodities from Pakistan and Pakistan administered Kashmir," said Vohra.

Meanwhile, civil construction work is in full swing in Kashmir to facilitate trade with Pakistan administered Kashmir.
"This process of business is very good, and it will benefit us a lot. We are thankful to both the Indian and Pakistani Governments for taking up this task," said Choudhary Fazal Din, a resident.
India and Pakistan on September 22 agreed on arrangements to open a border route for bilateral trade in Kashmir.
The trade on the Poonch-Rawalakot route will begin from October 21 and on the Srinagar- Muzaffarabad route as well.
A joint working group comprising senior government officials from both countries met in New Delhi earlier this week to decide on the modalities of the trade. (ANI)
