London, Dec 28 (ANI): Christina Aguilera's racy 'X Factor' final performance, which had set millions of male pulses racing, has also sent sales of stockings and suspenders soaring.
More than 1,000 viewers had complained about a near-striptease by the pop singer as she sang a song from her film 'Burlesque'.
But lingerie firm Gossard said that it helped boost the sales of suspender belts and elasticated hold-ups by 63 percent.
"It has been a Christmas of stocking thrillers rather than stocking fillers," the Daily Express quoted Gossard managing director Tony Jarvis as saying. (ANI)
