Kathmandu, Sept 28 (ANI): Nepal Home Minister Bam Dev Gautam has said that nobody would be allowed to enter the Constituent Assembly (CA) premises with weapons.

Gautam said this following an outrage from opposition parties over the entry of the personal security guard of a Maoist leader inside the Constituent Assembly (CA) premises with firearm.

He assured the Constituent Assembly members that such incidents would not occur in future.

"Since the Maoists is leading the government, Maoist leaders do not need to keep their own security personnel," he said.

"Security of the Constituent Assembly is overseen by Nepal Police and CA's own security mechanism," he added.

He said the government would take strong action if anybody is found in the Constituent Assembly premises with arms.

On Saturday, the Nepal's legislative session was disrupted for the second consecutive days the Nepali Congress (NC) lawmakers were protesting against the government for not clarifying the subjects missed during the budget announcement.

Nepali Congress leaders and the Terai-Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N) lawmakers demanded Finance Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai to present the documents before the discussion on appropriations bill commences, Nepalnews reported. (ANI)
