Brit-Indian bride's family 'excluding no one' from suspicion in Cape Town murder

London , Tue, 30 Nov 2010 ANI

London, Nov 30 (ANI): The brother of Brit-Indian bride Anni Dewani, who was killed during her honeymoon trip in Cape Town earlier this month, has demanded justice saying that his family does not want to "exclude anyone at this point," as far as suspicion is concerned. wenty-two-year-old Anish Hindocha, an engineering student, said that they were confused by rumours likening Anni's husband Shrien to her death, and alleged that the Cape Town police had completely left them in dark about the investigation process.

"We don't know anymore. We just want justice and we don't want to exclude anyone at this point. We're in limbo. There's a lot going on now, but we're not hearing anything," the Sun quoted Anish, as saying.

Twenty-eight-year-old Anni was shot dead on November 13 when she and her new husband Shrien were hijacked by robbers as their taxi drove through a notorious township in Cape Town. Dewani was released unharmed.

Taxi driver Zola Tongo, 25-year-old suspect Mziwamadoda Qwabe, and another 23-year-old man Xolile Mngeni were been detained earlier in connection with her murder. The three accused faced court yesterday charged with murder, kidnap and robbery and were remanded until Monday.

Prosecutors are confident that suspect Tongo would enter a plea bargain and reveal the plot behind the attack, the paper said. (ANI)
