Two people are confirmed dead and over 20 are reportedly injured in a twin blasts occurred in a flower market Mehrauli of South Delhi, on Saturday at around 2.15 p.m.
According to initial report, two people came on a motorbike and dropped a small bag which exploded later. The injured have been rushed to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) of which many of them are said to be in critical condition.
Police sources say that blasts were of low intensity but shook window panes and doors of the shop. Soon after the blast, the entire areas have been condoned off by security officials and bomb disposal squads have been reached at the spot.
This is another black Saturday, exactly fourteen days ago (on September 13); a string of high intensity blasts across the capital had left 25 dead and over 130 injured.
In connection with Delhi and other serial blasts in various cities, police and intelligence bureau have already arrested few alleged terrorists. On September 19, Police had gunned down two militants and arrested one militant from Jamia Nagar.
