20-foot long shark found dead in Chennai port

Chennai, Nov.23 (ANI): A dead 20-foot-long shark has been retrieved from the waters off Chennai Port.

Chennai Port employee said sharks are usually found in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, and he had no clue how it had reached Chennai's chores.

The shark may have been hit by the propeller of ship and died of injury.

Chennai Port Trust chairman Atulya Mishra said the reason of death would be identified only after investigations are over. By Jaikumar(ANI)
