Here's how greasy fry-up breakfasts can actually be good for health!

London, Sept 27 (ANI): Eating a typical breakfast fry-up every day is good for you, says a leading health expert.

According to French nutritionist Dr Alain Delabos, enjoying a full traditional English breakfast can help keep cholesterol levels down.

The expert believes that health-conscious folk do not need to cut out fatty foods - just eat them at the right time.

The chrononutrition technique is based on the idea the body is biolog-ically programmed to perform different functions at specific times.

"Cheese is wonderful medication against cholesterol as long as you eat it at the right time," the Daily Star quoted him, as saying.

Delabos also advises against cutting down on the amount of food a person scoffs or eating too much fruit and veg.

Instead, the doctor reckons heavy meals, like steak and chips, should be eaten four to six hours after a fry-up.

Sugary foods are allowed at tea time, but evening meals should be lighter and fat-free.

As for healthy fruit and veg, he advised: "Don't eat too much of them. Vegetables fill up the body with mineral salts and make it store up much more water.

"Eating like a herbivore gives you the thighs and buttocks of a horse." (ANI)
