Malaysia denies entry to 105 Pakistani 'workers' carrying tourist visas

Islamabad, Sept 26 (ANI): Malaysia has reportedly denied entry to around 105 Pakistanis on the suspicion that they might try to stay and work illegally in Malaysia.

The Pakistani "workers" are said to have obtained the tourist visas with the help of a agent mafia, said Malaysian authorities.

Subsequently, the Malaysian authorities deported the Pakistanis to their home country. All of them were carrying tourist visas and not proper work visas, reported the Daily Times.

"These young Pakistanis are sent by the recruiting agents for immediate personal gains to seek employment in Malaysia, which is in violation of the Malaysian law," the paper quoted Shahid Hussain Jatoi, the community welfare counsellor for the Pakistan's High Commission in Kuala Lumpur, as saying.

He added: "With the help of an agent mafia, they traveled to Malaysia on a visit visa under the garb of a tourist visa". (ANI)
