New Delhi, Sept 23 (ANI): Two suspects of the September 13 Delhi blasts, Bashir alias Atif and Sajid, who were shot dead by police in a raid, were cremated on Monday.Police have arrested in all six suspects following Friday's raid on their South Delhi hideout, including the caretaker of the house they had taken on rent.

According to police, members of the group were also behind the recent blasts in Ahmedabad, Surat and Jaipur besides last year's bombings in Varanasi.

Appealing to Muslims to fight terror unitedly, head cleric of Delhi's 'Jama Masjid' Syed Ahmed Bukhari said it is for the courts to decide whether the suspects were behind the attacks.

"We will protest peacefully and in this democracy we have the right to raise our voice. We will pressurise the government and political parties. I appeal to all Muslim organizations and Muslims to be united. I have asked them to collectively take a decision and then we will give a call to country's Muslims to fight terrorism," said Syed Ahmed Bukhari.

All suspects who carried out the Delhi blasts are believed to be members of the Indian Mujahideen (IM) group, an offshoot of the banned Students' Islamic Movement of India (SIMI). (ANI)
