Suspected Taliban kill nine Pak security personnel in Swat
Peshawar, Sept 23 (ANI): A suspected Taliban reportedly killed at least nine security personnel in Pakistan's Swat region after he rammed his explosives-laden car into a check-post.
The incident occurred in the Madyan town in Swat.
"Nine security personnel were killed and a couple more were slightly injured in a suicide attack on a checkpost," the Daily Times quoted the military's media wing, as saying.
In separate incidents, unidentified men blew up the house of Kooza Bandai Nazim Sher Afzal Khan with explosives. However, no causalities were reported.
In yet another incident, three people were killed by security forces during an operation against Taliban in Abbas Chowk and Sikha Khel. They arrested at least 28 people. (ANI)
