Taking cue from mom Sarah Palin, Bristol hits public speaking circuit

New York, Oct 3 (ANI): Bristol Palin seems to be following in the footsteps of her Tea Party mom, Sarah Palin.

Bristol is now on Facebook and is hitting the public speaking circuit to spread her brand of family values.

The move is sure to fuel speculation that Sarah Palin will run for president in 2012, reports the New York Daily News.

"I have decided to embark on something new and step out of my 'comfort zone" in order to tell my story and advocate for the pro-life and pro-family cause," Bristol wrote to introduce her Facebook page, which has more than 5,700 fans.

Palin is best-known for her on-again, off-again romance with the dopey political wannabe Levi Johnston and for her current stint on the latest season of "Dancing With The Stars."

Her pregnancy during the 2008 presidential campaign caused a major stir for Sarah Palin, then the GOP vice-presidential candidate alongside Sen. John McCain.

Bristol though has a long way to go before she commands the megabucks her mom gets to speak at huge rallies.

The 19-year-old single mom"s speech at a Right to Life convention in Visalia, Calif. Thursday earned her 10,000dollars, The Daily Beast reported.

In her talk, Palin took a shot at the "lamestream media" and spoke about the "tension-filled" days before she told her parents she was pregnant.

She also hit the Southern Californian crowd with her pitch for abstinence before marriage pitch.

"My message is a simple one: Don"t make the same decision I made, just wait. Young ladies, please hear me," Palin said. (ANI)
