Melbourne, Oct 1 (ANI): An Aussie man sent a marriage proposal to his property manager girlfriend through an ad on realestate.com.au.
Frankston woman Hayley Smith was confused, shocked and finally excited when she found an advertisement on realestate.com.au from boyfriend Clinton Hosking asking her to marry him.
Mr Hosking, who lives in Darwin, had posted the ad on the website knowing his girlfriend - who is a rental property manager - would be trawling the site at work, The Northern Territory News reports.
"She is continually checking out the competition online," the Herald Sun quoted Hosking as saying.
"I thought what is one thing Hayley really loves and one thing stuck out, she loves real estate so I thought why not stick an advertisement on realestate.com.au for her to find.
"I really wanted this to be a genuine surprise," he said.
Ms Smith said she certainly was surprised.
"I looked at it, then started crying," she said. (ANI)
