Mills' has no regrets over marrying Macca because of daughter
London, Sept 22 (ANI): Sir Paul McCartney's former wife Heather Mills has revealed that despite having been called a gold digger, she does not regret her marriage to the 'Beatles' legend because it gave her Beatrice, the couple's daughter.
After six years of marriage, Mills and McCartney went through a very much-publicised divorce, during which the former model became a hate figure in Britain.
However, Mills has now come forward and spoken about having no regrets about her marriage to the singer.
"How would you feel if you had been through what I have? But no, how can I regret something which gave us our beautiful daughter Beatrice," the Daily Star quoted Mills as having told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper.
"I went through six miscarriages and two ectopic pregnancies before I had her. I was told I could never have children and now I have her and she's just fantastic. I adore her. So no, I could never regret something which gave me Beatrice.
"But I'm ready to move on in my life now. I'm not a negative person. I want to move on positively. I need to look at the bigger picture, which means helping those causes close to my heart," she added.
Mills had, in the court papers that were leaked, falsely claimed that McCartney was an abusive husband, a drunk, and a wife-beater, which later earned her the name of a liar. (ANI)
