Death toll in Himachal Pradesh's heavy rains rises to 42

Shimla, Sept 21 (ANI): The death toll due to heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh during the last three days has risen to 42.
The worst affected District is Shimla where rain has claimed 32 lives besides disruption of power supply, communication network and road traffic.
Meanwhile traffic has resumed on National Highway 21 between Chandigarh and Manali and on Hindustan-Tibet road.
Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today held a meeting of disaster management and confirmed that the spiritual Tibetan leader Karamapa in Baralacha of Lahaul Spiti is safe. (ANI)
