London, Sept.20 (ANI): The Abu Dhabi United Group, the conglomerate that bought the Manchester City football club for 220-million-pounds this month, is reportedly considering a proposal to recruit the services of popular rock band "Oasis" for creating a new gig for the club.
According to The Sun, Manchester City's new owners want to launch their new era with a huge party in the City of Manchester stadium next summer, and Oasis tops their list of wannabe's.The idea came up after the new team in charge of the club asked current worker to help them draw up a blueprint for the brand.
They also suggested the rockers could re-record club theme Blue Moon for the team to run out to at home games.
"The owners want to ally themselves with strong brands and see Oasis as playing a vital role helping to move the club forward very quickly.
"Acts such as Oasis don't come cheap - but obviously that isn't an issue." (ANI)
