London, Sep 19 (ANI): Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, who celebrates her 83rd birthday next month, is said to be in fragile health but showed no signs of struggling in keeping up with the lively conversation around her.

Looking vibrant in blue and pink, she greeted a steady stream of admirers at a recent bash, held at London's Goring Hotel, including her former Tory parliamentary colleague Neil Hamilton and his wife Christine, the Daily Express reported.

And, despite allegations made by her daughter Carol, that her mother has been suffering from dementia for at least seven years, a fellow guest remarked about the 'Iron Lady': "She was as sharp as ever from where I was standing. Perhaps it was a good day for her, but she was clearly charming the socks off all she met." (ANI)
