Sex and the City author to ink books about Carrie Bradshaw's school days
London, Sept 19 (ANI): Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw is set to go back to school - but in form of books that will talk about the sexy character's high school adventures.
Author Candace Bushnell, whose 1990s newspaper columns inspired the Sex and the City franchise, has inked a deal of writing two books talking about Bradshaw's formative years, specifically targeted towards teenagers.
According to New York Observer, the books' publishers said that they hope that the project would be a "crossover hit", appealing to both teenagers and older fans of the show.
The book will be titled 'The Carrie Dairies', with the children's division at HarperCollins, reports Telegraph.
The publisher said they would take "readers back to Carrie Bradshaw's formative years in high school, giving an inside look at Carrie's friendships, romances and how she realised her dream of becoming a writer". (ANI)
