Social security agreement between India and France

New Delhi, Sept 18 (ANI): The Union Cabinet today gave its approval for signing a social security agreement between India and France.
The agreement provides benefits to Indian nationals working in France including the avoidance of double social security contribution by the detached Indian workers in France; portability of social security benefits on relocation; and totalization of period of contribution in the second contracting state for determining the eligibility for social security benefits.
