Sam Burgess and Stephanie Rice are 'Twitter mates'

Melbourne, Aug 14 (ANI): Souths' strike forward Sam Burgess and Australian swimming sensation Stephanie Rice have set tongues wagging, with the pair engaging in some fruity exchanges in the Twittersphere.

However, he's not the only footballer in Rice's Twit catalogue, reports the Daily Telegraph.

She also follows rugby's Quade Cooper, Adam Ashley-Cooper, Kurtley Beale, Matt Giteau, Drew Mitchell, James O'Connor and the NRL's Dale Copley, Jarryd Hayne and Benji Marshall.

There's no sign of Rice's former flings Michael Phelps or Manly's David Williams.

Burgess has his bar set a little higher with a Twitter posse that includes Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Jersey Shore's Snooki, Kendra Wilkinson, Pixie Lott and Katherine Heigl. (ANI)
