Meg Ryan wanted to name her daughter 'Oprah Winfrey'!
New Delhi, Sept 17 (ANI): Actress Meg Ryan has revealed that she had initially thought of naming her now three-and-a-half-year-old daughter 'Daisy' as 'Oprah Winfrey Ryan'.
'The Women' star had adopted her daughter Daisy True from China in 2003 said that she was initially convinced that celebrities should just name their babies after celebrities, but later ruled it out, reports China Daily
"I had a friend who was in a little bit of a manic phase, a little bi-polar, and I was getting reams and reams of names from her. My favourite was Oprah Winfrey Ryan. I knew then that I was in trouble," said Ryan.
Ryan, who originally named her daughter Charlotte, also revealed the reason she eventually chose the name Daisy was because it reflected her daughter's vibrant personality. (ANI)
