Robbie Williams 'gutted' after split with long-time girlfriend Ayda Field

London, Sept 17 (ANI): Robbie Williams 'is absolutely gutted', for he has broken-up with his long-time girlfriend Ayda Field.

The couple called it quits after 14 months together, with Williams occupying himself into work on his next album.

"Robbie is absolutely gutted the relationship has ended," the Mirror quoted a source, as saying.

"He thought Ayda was his soulmate, and the most beautiful woman he has ever met, so he was desperate for it to work.

"Unfortunately, the timing was not right for them, and after being on-off for a while they've finally decided to call it quits.

"They are still very good friends though and she was the only girlfriend his close-knit circle in LA actually accepted and genuinely liked.

"But Robbie is dead serious about his music, it's his number one focus. He's in the recording studio 24/7 working on his best tracks yet," the source added.

According to friends, the 29-year-old actress wanted a party lifestyle but the reclusive singer has no time for anything other than recording, his interest in UFOs and a round of golf.

"Ayda wanted to go to a few more parties and meet people," the source said.

"But Robbie has shunned the party-loving lifestyle for a quieter, less public life, only occasionally popping to the Chateau Marmont for drinks. It's a blow to his whole circle. But they are happy he is back to his best musically," the source added. (ANI)
